In class today, our professor put together an amazing industry panel for us. The panel comprised models, producers, agents, stylists, and more. It was an exciting experience being able to talk and relate to individuals from all over the industry. Being a fashion merchandising student, it surprised me how much opportunity is available for us within the industry. Aina Fadina was a huge inspiration for me. Listening to her story from model to an investment broker, Aina paved her own path in the industry. It is amazing what people can accomplish when they find their place in the world. As I graduate from Kent State University this December, I’m on a mission to find my place in the world. Thank you, Professor D, for all your amazing insight into the industry and especially your warm-hearted personality. We will all miss you so much.
